Harford Mall gets much needed face lift

New and big things are happening to the Harford Mall that have been much needed. Harford mall is extremely small in comparison to White Marsh and Towson Town with bigger selections of clothing stores, more than one floor level, and most importantly a food court, all of which Harford Mall lacks.

In the malls attempts to attract more customers they are adding more popular stores and restaurants. Most recently the boutique store Francesca’s was added on Saturday February 28th. This very popular clothing and jewelry store offers the latest fashion trends at a fairly reasonable cost. It is located right across from American Eagle and in-between GameStop and Villa Fresh Italian Pizza.

“It makes me really excited, that we have a Francesca’s because they have reasonable prices for clothing and accessories, they don’t follow what other stores, do.” Said junior Kiara Bell. “It [the Harford mall], really needed an update. Everyone had the same clothes, from the same place, there isn’t that much variety,” added Bell.

A store that is rumored to be added, not official yet, to the mall is Forever 21. This store is supposed to replace Hollister, since it has been removed from the mall in the past couple of months. Forever 21 is another clothing store that has a huge selection of stylish clothing that is cheap and cute. The store might be located right across from Journey’s and next to Lax World.

The Greene Turtle will also be an addition to the Harford Mall community. Greene Turtle, the restaurant, will be put at the location of a previous shoe store and then bouncy place. The Greene Turtle is a sports bar and grille, that is geared toward all ages and has a large variety of food, with a fun atmosphere.
