Ravens season worst in franchise history

The Ravens have always been known as a pretty good team who has had its fair share of  good players in recent years. However, at the end of  last year we lost a lot of them and the outcome has not been pretty.

The Baltimore Ravens  definitely could be a playoff team, but they aren’t going to the playoffs if they continue this losing streak.

Game one for the Ravens against the Denver Bronco was actually supposed to be a guaranteed loss for the Ravens according to most analysts.  However, Baltimore went into that game with their heads up but they left with 13 to 19 loss.   Though this game was  a loss, it was definitely a good game for the Ravens, and gave hope to the fans for upcoming games.

Game two for Baltimore was supposed to be an “easy game”  according to many fans and players. However, the Oakland Raiders proved to be challenging.  A game that has never been an amazing matchup turned out to be just that.  Many fans thought Baltimore went into the game a bit too confident and cocky, and they left Oakland with their heads down in shame.

Game three for the 0 and 2 had the Ravens face to face with the 2 and 0 Cincinatti Bengals. Cincinnati has an unblemished record. The game came down to the wire as Cincinnati defeated Baltimore 28 to 24 in what turned out to be a very stressful game.

Game four for Baltimore was against their biggest Rival in the league, The Steelers. Though The Steelers headed into this game with a better record than the Ravens, it wasn’t much better. Baltimore played their hearts out losing one of their key players, Steve Smith Sr.  Despite not having Smith,  Baltimore finally walked away with their first win of the year against the Steelers in overtime , winning 23 to 20 with a clutch field goal by Justin Tucker.

Game five for Baltimore featured The Cleveland Browns, who were looking to increase their record to a solid 2-3 record, while the Ravens  were aiming for a 2-3 record. While the Ravens started strong, Cleveland didn’t allow that for long. The Browns forced the game into overtime and came away with a victory.

Game six for Baltimore, against the San Francisco 49ers saw a Baltimore Ravens team that struggled through most of the first half.  However, after half time Joe Flacco started to play as Joe Flacco. Ravens fans started to see a real NFL quarterback. However, it was not enough.  The Ravens dropped what would be another loss  in their already dismal season.
