That Awkward Moment impresses viewers

A new comedic romance has finally hit theaters. That Awkward Moment has a rollercoaster of emotions that will have movie-goers laughing one minute and crying the next. The crazy fluctuation of awkward dating scenarios doesn’t stop Zac Efron (Jason), Miles Teller (Daniel), and Michael B. Jordan (Mikey) from creating a realistic story to which so many many viewers can relate.
In this flick, Efron, Teller, and Jordan play three best friends trying to figure out how to handle or get around awkward moments in relationships, especially when it’s time to answer the question, “So… where is this going?” Along the way, the three friends create a pact to stay single for each other. While it seems like a great idea at the time, it turns out to be much harder than they planned as new romances spring up.
Jason and his new co-worker, Ellie (Imogen Poots), play hard-to-get with each other and keep the romance game alive throughout the whole movie. Daniel, a.k.a. the ladies man, has his friend Chelsea (Mackenzie Davis) help him score dates home from the bar. Later on he realizes the only girl he wanted was there the whole time. Mikey and his long-time girlfriend, Vera (Jessica Lucas) decide to take a break when he finds out something he never would’ve guessed his perfect girlfriend would do. The different actors pull this plot together perfectly to create three interesting and compelling love stories.
Instead of being the typical chick-flick film where viewers only see the girl’s perspective of dating, film goers will get more than their fair share of how the male dating mind works . The storyline continuously draws in the audience and the acting is believable and the characters are relatable.
The only unpleasant part of this otherwise hilarious film is the abundance of language and some sexual content. That Awkward Moment is definitely worth the ticket purchase.
