What it’s like to… Go to public school for the first time

Karissa Dugan, freshman

“I was nervous coming into a new school only knowing a few people. North Harford is a lot different than my old school because everyone knew each other in the grade since there was only a few. Now, I’m in a class with hundred’s of people and it’s kind of scary. But so far, my experience here has been great.”

Leena Goetz, freshman

“The first day was a little scary, but it helped a lot since my sister goes here too. If I needed help finding a class or just did not feel comfortable, I could always go to her. It is definitely a different transition from where I went to school before because of the class sizes. I feel like there is a lot more that the school offers than there was at my old school.”
