Kindness Shout Outs

Shout to Mrs. Nicole Reimers, AP US History teacher:

Junior Matthew Chaney says that he is very appreciative of “her patience as I made up one of my tests and turned in late work from an absence.” Chaney gave Riemers his football jersey for the exchange day. 

Shout to junior Finely Lavin: 

Junior Sierra Weaver shouts out her friend Finely Lavin for “always complimenting me and giving me advice when I need help.” Weaver said that Lavin often compliments her outfits, and this little kindness goes a long way in a friendship. 

Shout to Mrs. Meagan Neyens, English teacher: 

English teacher, Mrs. Keith says that “Mrs. Neyens  went out of her way and above and beyond for my wedding.” Mrs. Neyens was not only in the wedding but also helped with all of the specific details and organization. 

Freshman Lola Steel also says “she was very helpful while I was working on one of my essays and we ate cake in her class yesterday.” 

Shout to junior Carmen Santoro: 

Junior Ian Calhoun says he is grateful for his friend Santoro for “driving me to school in the mornings.” According to Calhoun this “makes my day because I don’t have to ride the bus.” 

Shout to the cheer team and Coach Fatcheric:

Junior Leah Arthur says “everybody on the cheer team helps me with routines and Coach Fatcheric  helps me with everything.” 

Shout to junior Grace Underwood:

Junior Lillian Duffy said Underwood “is always so nice to everyone and always says things to make people’s day, such as complimenting others.”

Shout to senior Maddie Rhoades: 

Junior Emily Persuhn says Rhoades “is super nice and friendly to everyone.” Persuhn enjoys their friendship because Rhoades is “very warm and welcoming.”

Shout to sophomore Autumn Patchell:

Sophomore Karlee Neel said Patchell “helped me with makeup work one day, while I stayed home. This was makeup work for geometry class.”

Shout to freshman Molly Fialcowitz:

Freshman Maddie Pullin said Fialcowitz “helped me open my locker and clean it out.” Pullin also notes that she is very nice and welcoming to everyone. 

Shout to junior Riley Stoneback: 

Junior Autumn Tagliaferri says “I missed school multiple times for appointments regarding my surgery and Riley Stoneback helped me so much in getting caught back up.”

Shout to junior Emily Persuhn: 

Senior Zach Corman says that Persuhn “is always there for me as my girlfriend and is a good listener when I rant.”

Shout to Mrs. Jean Buttitta, Spanish teacher:

Mrs. Mary Capellan, Spanish and German teacher, said she is thankful for “Mrs. Buttitta for sharing all of her wonderful ideas with me.”

Shout to Anonymous: 

Senior Clare Cummings shouts out an anonymous person in her English class for “leaving a sticky note on my books that said they enjoyed my perspective and liked my thesis.” After being criticized about her thesis, Cummings notes this was very sweet. 

Shout out to Mrs. Kimberly Harris, Anatomy and Chemistry teacher:

Junior Aiden Caragon says “Mrs. Harris listens very well and is very supportive of those in her classes.”

Shout to sophomore Mason Adelhart:

Sophomore Shaun Anderson says his friend Adelhart “gives me a white Monster in the morning and this is always very kind of him.”

Shout to senior Teagan Flaherty:

Sophomore Mackenzie Dunaway says “Teagan is super funny and makes me laugh at work.” Flaherty is also very nice to everyone in the school building. 

Shout to freshman Mckenna O’Neil:

Freshman Brooke Carter says O’Neil “always asks about my day and is a very sweet friend by doing this.”

Shout to freshman Hannah Kawaihae:

Freshman Autumn Lovett said, “I tripped going up the grand stairwell and my papers went everywhere and Hannah Kawaihae let herself  be late to class just to help me pick them up.”

Shout to sophomore Natalie Sturgill:

Freshman Bailey Smith said Natalie “is always very nice to me and has my back.” Smith also says that Sturgill “hypes me up and makes me feel good about myself.”

Shout to freshman Cooper Thurman:

Freshman Evan Oswald says that Thurman “always asks how I’m doing and is a very nice friend to me.”  

Shout to Mr. Timothy Larrimore:

Junior Adam Brown says that his teacher Mr. Larrimore “gives out extra credit points, which helps my grade and others in the class.” 

Shout to senior Andrew Clayton:

Senior Hayden Carter says Clayton “is always nice to me and is currently helping our teacher fix something for our class.” This was very kind, as Clayton is going out of his way for others. 

Shout to Mr. Brady Green, Biology teacher:

Freshman Coulter Parsons shouts to Mr. Green because “he is very nice and makes everything easy in biology.”

Shout to Mrs. Melissa Winter, Government and Psychology teacher:

Freshman Scott Dillworth says his favorite teacher Mrs. Winter “makes everything super easy and she is a nice teacher.”

Shout to Freshman Brianna Billings:

Freshman Isabella Harrison says “Brianna Billings is nice and we have gotten close this year as friends.” 

Shout to Freshman Audrey Bullock:

Freshman Ava Mimms says Bullock “is very nice, a really good friend to have, and she always has my back.”
