Do first impressions really matter? “First impressions matter because they give an idea of who you are,” said Mrs. Emilie Phillips, English teacher.

Making assumptions before you meet someone for the first time can change. Sophomore Mia Sbodio said that, “what I hear about a person might make me think one way about them, but at the end of the day I have to get to know them myself.”

When making a first impression, art and communications teacher Mr. Brian Dougherty said that he shows good posture  because it makes you seem interested. He also said that, “it doesn’t matter how you look as long as you can show you have some self-confidence or self-worth.”
