Coach Liebel is very confident in his team this season because he has good players with good attitudes and they are all working very hard. He also says that he isn’t necessarily looking forward to any specific game this season, “It’s always the next one.” Liebel also states that some seniors who worked hard to prepare for the season and are the ones to watch are JT Kidd, Cole Dickerson, Erik Beyer, Sean Feiss, and Mike Messersmith. He says the team overall has really good chemistry, senior leadership, and the team as a whole is working very hard to improve in practice. On top of all that, the team has had really no setbacks yet this year and plan to keep pushing forward.

Senior captain JT Kidd says that he is extremely confident in the team in regards to the upcoming season because everyone has been putting in tons of hard work. He is looking forward to the opening game against Hereford on Friday and the homecoming game coming in October. Kidd states that a few underclassmen to watch would be quarterback Dave Harmon (Junior) and Tyler Collins (Junior). He went on to say, “Tyler has a lot of speed and a big heart.” Kidd also states, “The team chemistry is definitely improved; relationships are much stronger than they were last year.” He further explains that almost all the players on the team were a part of the JV team during the 2014-2015 season and had a very successful year.

Another senior captain extremely confident in the team is Erik Beyer. Beyer is looking forward to the Hereford game being the first game of the season, the rivalry homecoming game against Fallston, the rivalry against C. Milton Wright on senior night, and playing against Aberdeen and Edgewood in a fight for a playoff spot. Beyer also says his younger players to watch are Andrew Bland and Colin McDermott. “They are two 10th graders who are crucial to the team.” Beyer states that the team chemistry is better than last year and the team did well focusing through a “team-spread cold” at the beginning of the season.
