Senior captain Lauren O’Sullivan says, “I’m very confident about the team because we’ve meshed really well in practices and games.” The Lady Hawks have won 6 of their 8 games this season and plan to keep growing stronger as a team. O’Sullivan is looking forward to three tough games this season. She says the Fallston and C. Milton Wright games are both huge rivalry games that always bring a lot of excitement. She also says, “I’m looking forward to Bel Air the most because we have never beaten them in my years of high school and it would be so hype to beat them in senior year.” O’Sullivan did not state any specific players, but said there is definitely a new, young offense and midfield to watch. With the loss of 15 seniors from the team last season, there has been a definite change in team chemistry. “This year the upperclassmen interact more with the underclassmen because there is small number of us.” O’Sullivan ends by saying the only setback the team has seen this year is the many injuries which have already occurred so early in the season.
