Unforeseen car calamity creates chaos

During the middle of last year, Cody Powell, now a senior, went to take his driver’s test at the Elkton DMV. “…Everything was going swimmingly so far and I get onto the road and, what’d you know? I’m making a right hand turn and this big old truck sideswipes me and I go over the curb… I have to pull into a Walgreens parking lot and fill out my insurance papers… and I have to take pictures of his truck, my car,” explained Powell. When the instructor asked if he would like to continue taking his test, “Yeah, of course I do. I didn’t drive an hour just to go home with a busted up car and no license,” Powell responded. Powell ended up receiving his license and is now a licensed driver. And, if there was one thing he learned from this experience, “Never drive in Elkton ever again.”
