Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse exceeds expectations, empties wallet
May 27, 2021
Ruth’s Chris is a steakhouse chain of over 100 locations across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Everything about this restaurant is top-tier; including the check. But, from the dress code to the cuisine, you can count on perfection every time.
When you walk into a Ruth’s Chris, you feel like royalty. The waiters and servers pay close attention to your satisfaction and are determined to make your experience as delightful as possible. The dim lights and subtle music create a comfortable and classy ambience.
Some may disagree with the dress code at Ruth’s Chris as it prohibits athletic wear, tank tops, clothing with offensive graphics or language, flip-flops, and ripped clothing. But, it actually enforces a luxurious experience.
The menu consists of Steaks & Chops, Seafood & Specialties, Ruth’s Classics, Appetizers & Sides, Soups & Salads, Desserts, and Specialty Diets. One meal that is widely prized is the stuffed chicken. It is a roasted double chicken breast stuffed with scrumptious garlic herb cheese and topped with lemon butter. It is a frequent favorite due to the perfect ratio of cheese to chicken and the tang of lemon butter. The chicken is surprisingly moist and tastes amazing with a side of asparagus. This entrée is delectable, to say the least. This would cost $36 without asparagus.
Another entrée would be the Ribeye. It is USDA Prime, well-marbled for peak flavor, and deliciously juicy. Perfectly grilled and seasoned to keep your taste buds wanting more. For a 12 oz., the cost would be 49 dollars. So, meals are pricey but justified by the time and effort put into creating these dishes.
The way everything is presented just screams perfection. The clean waters, fresh, white tablecloths, and 500-degree plates are the cherry on top. Customer service is one of their best qualities.
Now, let’s talk about dessert. Their chocolate sin cake is dangerously delicious! As a flourless cake, the creamy consistency smacks you in the face with just how chocolatey it is. While it is tasty, this cake is very simple, almost too simple. It is a literal chocolate bar, not a slice of cake.
Lastly, Ruth’s Chris has a fantastic reputation for quality food and service. It’s definitely not the best choice for a family night out or a child’s birthday because of the high prices and formal environment. But, their outstanding prime steaks and New Orleans style create the perfect choice for a date night. So, start saving now and go eat at a Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse.
Their hours are 4 pm to 10 pm Monday through Thursday and on Friday and Saturday, they stay open one hour longer. But, on Sundays, they close one hour earlier. Reservations are recommended, but not required for dine-in.
