Mixed reports, Relatives in same sports

OLIVIA BECKER, Reporter

Grant Badders: “It’s honestly a life changing experience, just being hand in hand with your womb buddy, sharing the glorious moments of sports activities and just being one with your fellow bro.”

Frank Badders: “I spend enough time with Grant already so.. It’s just practice.”

Riley Deacon: “It’s interesting because I get to see him all day every day and we have a great time on the team.”

Ryder Deacon: “It’s pretty fun, but sometimes it can get annoying though.  It’s interesting and it’s fun to watch him play.”

Skylar Limpert: “It’s fun being on a team with my sister, it’s more time I have to spend with her, but it’s nice having someone I can talk to at home about the team and what we can do better”

Ariel Limpert: “It’s really fun being able to play on a team with my sister. We work really well together on the field and it’s a different bond I have with her compared to all the other players.

Evan Allred: “Playing a sport with my cousin Clayton is really fun, he always pushes me to be the best I can because he has been doing it longer. The most convenient thing is that sometimes I get rides home with him.”

Clayton: “It’s cool to hang out with my cousin and do the same sport together, we’ve never done that before so it’s interesting. Since he’s younger I pick on him and i’m not used to having that in a sports environment so it’s kind of cool.”

Sierra Heim: “It’s not really any different because we play a sport together outside of school. I specifically don’t correct her, even though I’m captain, I get other people to do it because it’s easier for her to take corrections from others, since we’re related. It’s fun, it’s like sibling bonding.

Jenna Heim: “It’s very fun, we get to talk about it a lot and it definitely helps our bonding”
