At the 2026 Grammy awards Puerto Rican singer and song writer Bad bunny the “King of Trap” was spotted on the carpet making history for wearing a custom black velvet Schiaparelli Haute Couture Tuxedo, marking the fashion house’s first ever major menswear red carpet appearance.
In 2023, Bad Bunny made history with the first Spanish-language LP nominated for Album of the Year for his blockbuster album Un Verano Sin Ti. Now Bad Bunny was again nominated again in the category this year for Debi Tirar Mas Fotos, marking the first time that a Spanish-language LP takes the biggest award of the night. He was also nominated for Song of the Year and Record of the Year for “DTMF”.
As the award summary continued, Bad Bunny won one of the biggest awards of the night, Album of the Year, for Debi Tirar Mas Fotos, marking the first time in 68 years of the Grammy Awards that a Spanish-language LP has won in that category.
The Puerto rican artist was crying tears of joy while walking up to the podium, he shouts out Puerto Rico and states “‘I want to dedicate this award to all the people that had to leave their homeland, their country to follow their dreams”.
