Erica Otte, Reporter

  1. What future career do you want to have?

“My ideal career path in the future is to double major in firearms science and business in college and open my gun store, range, and training facility to offer of course a range, training, firearms ammunition and accessories sales as well as repair and maintenance.”

  1. Where do you want to live when you are older?

“When I was younger I always wanted to move to Texas or Georgia because that`s where my older brother was and I wanted to be near him, but now looking at a bunch of other aspects my girlfriend and myself are looking towards somewhere in Southern Central Pennsylvania.”

  1. What college do you want to go to?

“My dream college is Fayetteville Technical and Community College in Fayetteville, NC. The reason I want to go here is that they have a really good gunsmithing program and they offer business classes that will cover everything I want to study.”

  1. What was your inspiration?

“I’ve always had a love and appreciation for firearms and their history. I’ve always been big into taking things apart to learn how they work and learning how to reassemble them and to improve them in some way. It was only natural for me to combine these two things and that lead me to fall in love with the building and working on guns.”- Spencer Grishkot, Junior

“I am aspiring to be an environmental lawyer and get my bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and sciences.”

  1. Where do you want to live when you are older?

“I don’t know the specific place I would want to live but I know I want to live in a city or closer to a city.”

  1. What college do you want to go to?

“I want to go to Texas A&M because it offers a great environmental program and a law school as a graduate program. If not there I want to go to York College and UCLA for law school.”

  1. What was your inspiration?

“The main reason I want to be a lawyer is because of my grandfather who was a great lawyer and I have always look up to him and been so interested in it. I love the environment and science and I am very good at it so I wanted to go into that field as well. I used to live in an area just outside of Baltimore and I loved the busyness of it all and I loved going downtown and seeing everything constantly moving, that’s why I want to live in a city. The college I want to go to is what I consider to be my best fit and I think it would be a good and cool experience to go to school out of state.”- Madison Shoemaker, Junior
