On Nov. 2, the Harford County Education Foundation held a banquet to honor our beloved teachers who got nominated for the Everyday Hero Award. All over Harford County, one teacher from each elementary, middle, and high school was being nominated by their fellow coworkers. Not every school across Harford County has to participate in this event. There were 49 nominees, 48 of them were women and one man.

Mr. Marc Manzo, the principal of North Harford Middle, nominated Mrs. Susan Summerfield as this year’s Everyday Hero. Mr. Brian Pawlicki, the principal of NHHS, nominated Mrs. Jennifer Chandler as this year’s Everyday Hero.
