From rock n’ roll to roll call
Name: Mark Truszkowski
Position:Assistant Principal
Years Teaching: 11 years
Years Teaching in Haford County: 7 years
Favorite part of the job: “Interacting with students because most of my interactions are usually positive. I get to see the students at sport events and different North Harford based activities, which makes the interaction with the student body on a positive note. I think people see us, as administrators, only as disciplinary figures, but that is only a small part of our job.”
Funniest moments: “I had , at a previous school, agreed to give blood, and it was held on the stage. So there were six of us on the gurneys, and about 20 other students in the seats of the auditorium. So, when I was done giving blood I passed out, and when I woke up I threw up in front of everyone.”
Something students are surprised: “I was the lead singer in a band for six years. We played locally, and mostly did music such as classical rock, but sometimes we even played a little country music.”
