Alumni donates to kids in need

Taylor Feiss realized that her family had blessed her with everything she needed, so she decided that instead of asking for presents for her December 21 birthday she would collect Christmas presents for kids.

So for the second consecutive year, this NH alumni will be donating the gifts to Kennedy Krieger, an institution dedicated to improving the lives of children with “disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and musculoskeletal system.”

Last year another alumni Jon Hammer, helped Feiss with her plans by collecting close to 300 presents.

“We were able to meet and hangout with some of the most inspirational kids ever!” said Feiss.

This year Feiss is teaming up with her best friend Sierra Hennlein in order to double the amount of presents this year. They will be distributing the presents in full Disney character costumes with Feiss dressing up as Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

One child who was especially partial to anything Spiderman was ecstatic to receive a big Spider-Man action figure.
“He was holding on so tight to that toy you couldn’t even fit a sheet of paper between them!” said Feiss, “The kids made me really thankful for every little thing.”
