“I want to be remembered as the teacher who instilled passion about the environment to her students,” said Ms. Linn Griffiths, chair of the science department.
Her plans will still involve teaching, though in the fall she will be heading back to C. Milton Wright where she was previously employed.
“It’s been a pleasure working with her for the last two years. I’m sure the faculty, staff, and students will be missing her,” said agriculture teacher, Jackie Smith. “Her work with the Environmental II classes were encouraging, she worked very hard to earn the Green School status.
Griffiths’ favorite memory of being a teacher occurred on April 8 this year when she was joined by 65 first graders who helped to plant trees.
“I will miss the students… our beautiful campus… and my friends,” said Griffiths.
This summer, Griffiths plans on working at Glacier National Park.
“Ms. Griffiths is an in-depth with the subjects that she teaches, and tries her hardest to make everything that she is teaching enjoyable,” said junior Ryan Fochler.
