We have a new artist a NHHS this year! One of the new teachers to the school is Mrs. Humphrey. She said “I taught high school many years ago and I knew that this is something I wanted to get back to teaching high school.”

As a new teacher to NH, Mrs. Humphrey says “I’m especially fortunate to be teaching at this school! The kids are wonderful and the Art Department is great!”

She says that she loves North Harford and that “I pinch myself every day to make sure that I’m not in a dream. I really do! It’s my dream job! The kids were great. I’ve heard wonderful things about the students and administrations. That North Harford is the hidden gem of the county!”

Mrs. Humphrey says that she like working with high level students and other students that want to prose art! She likes seeing students that want to be in art class and are willing to grow to be better artists. She want to be able to help facilitate them and help them become amazing! He also talks about how the staff of NH and the students are “amazing”, also saying that “Mr. Blevins and Mrs. Campbell are just priceless!”

Mrs. Humphrey used to teach in Aberdeen after doing her undergrad at Millersville University and her graduate work at Towson University, so she was already familiar with NH plus the fact that she coached tennis so that meant that she came to NH for some games. She said “It was always great to take our kids up here and play here and be here in this environment. I just remember it being such a peaceful environment.”
