On Jarrettsville Pike Rd in Monkton, MD, there is a little place located just in front of the Royal Farms.   It may seem hidden at first, but B & B Antiques is a gem of a place.

The variety of products displayed outside is what brings customers in. Milkcrates, fruit crates, benches, garden signs, beautiful chairs, among other antique items, and their scatter shows the start of B & B, and why it contains a 4.4 rating on Facebook.

Inside the store, a beautiful and wide collection of vintage earrings, rings, necklaces, watches, and bracelets, are right on the corner. B&B sells homemade honey as well.

Kitchenware can also be found there, wonderfully painted ceramics, creatively designed mugs, clay pots, and even lamps with innovative art carefully drawn on them. Even matching mugs are available. Furthermore, there is an entire display just for pen enthusiasts who are looking for high-quality, old working pens are.

While browsing, store employees are not stereotypically nosey and do not watch their customers look around, but they will answer questions gladly. While the staff is not the friendliest, the homey feeling of the shop will give anyone all the warmth they need.

Senior Haley Shoemaker looked at the gallery of pictures on the store’s website. She said, “that’s actually so cute. I like how it’s a little shop. I would so go just to check it out and see what all they have,” explains the student.

Like Shoemaker, senior Hannah Williams explains, “I would go there. It’s always a cool thing to go to an antique store and just see what is there because you never know what you are going to find.”

With a little of everything, B&B Antiques displays intriguing paintings, good quality frames, glass jars, and even little angel miniatures just for decoration.

For the readers there are even books, ranging from horses and photography to The Civil War.
