Boys Soccer

boyssoccer With a 8-3-4 (win-loss-tie) record to end the season, the varsity boys soccer team is nothing but proud.

“This season turned out a lot better than I thought it would. After last year, coaches and seniors had high expectations for the underclassmen that got pulled up. They all stepped up and took the games seriously. There was never a dull moment with the team this year.” said senior captain, Josh Young.

The said highlights of the season were “beating Bel Air on our senior night,” and “silencing Fallston fans on their senior night.”

“We had a very unpredictable team this year. After winning on our senior night, Andrew Klapka ran up to me and yelled ‘not on senior night!’ That was one of the most memorable moments of my soccer career,” stated senior captain Jordan Smith.

The team also faced issues throughout the season, including five gamesthat went into overtime and only winning one. Another negative was their loss, 3-0, against C.Milton Wright at the end of the season.

“This was one of the best teams I have played on and best wishes to my boys next year,” said senior captain Mike Boyko.
