Despite their record of 2-10, the varsity boys basketball team seeks to improve with each game they play.

Highlighting their strides for improvement was the game on January 8 against York County Technical High School.

“We tried our best to pull through in this game but we needed better rebounds and better shooting to make it happen,” said senior captain Collin Keating.

Even with a losing score of 45-42, the team succeeded in reaching some of their set goals this season.

“Even though we did not win we played really well as a team and that has been one of our weaknesses this whole season,” said senior captain Ryan Feiss.

Leading the team in this game was junior, Andrew Klapka with 13 points, and junior Brett Hurley with 10 points.
Also leading in rebounds was Klapka with 7, Feiss with 6, and junior, Zach Stike with 6.
“Unfortunately we lost by 3 when we were up by 8 in the fourth quarter, it is disappointing but the team played hard,” said head coach Jeffrey Burrows.
