Football September

IMG_8554During the 2013 football season, the team played very well with a record of five and four. This year the team said goodbye to their former coach, Ken Brinkman, and hello to their new coach, Eugene Liebel. “I don’t know much about last years football season but this is a great group of kids and I’m excited to work with them,” said Liebel. “We have a great time but we are disciplined and I think we’ll do great this season.” Athletes like Senior Brian Albrecht’s have a positive outlook on the upcoming season despite their first loss, “I think the loss to Perry Hall doesn’t reflect how our team is going to do this season. I think that it is a great thing to build off of.” Last year, the team lost to Loyola in triple overtime but according to Albrecht, this year will be different. There will be many great opportunities for fans to come and support the team this year. Albrecht says, “The Loyola, Fallston, and Bel Air games will be great to come and support. Especially the Fallston game because it’s on Halloween.”
