Boys Basketball

After having a rough start to their season, the boys basketball team has succeeded in finding their confidence and making major improvements.

“It was a long season, but we are hoping to finish strong and be successful in playoffs,” said senior captain Collin Keating.

The Hawk’s standing record is 4-14.

“Despite our record, we have improved throughout the season. I think the Fallston win really shows how our team can play and we just need to play like we did that game, every game,” said head coach Jeff Burrows.

The highlight to the team’s season was the win against Fallston at home with a score of 47-45. According to Burrows, their improvement can be shown in the difference in score from the first time they played the Cougars away, with a losing score of 47-30.

“Beating Fallston is always good and really made my senior season special,” said senior captain Ryan Feiss.

The draw for the playoffs will be on February 24. The first game of the playoffs for the Hawks will be on February 28.
“It is a group of guys that I have gotten close to and I am happy to be spending my senior year of basketball with them,” said senior captain Nic Hammer.
