Girls Soccer

The North Harford Hawks girls soccer team had another winning season in 2013 finishing 9-5-2. The Hawks started their season with a loss at St.Pauls however improved quickly, going on to later beat rival Fallston in double overtime.
“That was the best part of the season… beating Fallston,” said Maria Auth, sophomore.
Girls soccer went to the playoffs and did well, making it further than most other Harford County teams. In the first round they knocked off in-county rival Aberdeen at home. They went on to finish their season and end their playoff run losing at Bel Air to the Bobcats by a score of 1-0.
Senior captain Nicole Latgis says she will miss playing soccer a lot. “I’m going to miss Mr. Berg the most,” said Latgis, “and the popsicles that he would always bring to practice.”
“I’m really excited for next year considering we did so well this year and we were so young,” said sophomore Alison Beers.
