Field hockey players fired up for new season

The field hockey team has a very young varsity squad with five freshmen on the team, the highest number of freshmen the varsity has ever had.  Despite their inexperience, the team maintains a confident outlook about this year.

“It is beneficial for the freshmen girls on varsity because the seniors can teach them stick work, team bonding, and how to have fun…”, said varsity field hockey Carla Harward.  “It’s nice for the future, for the freshmen girls for the seasons to come.”

As always the team’s biggest competition includes C. Milton Wright and Fallston.

“We lost to them before and we really want to beat them this year,”  says senior captain Gabby Karr.

The girls would love for the North Harford student body to come and support them on senior night, September 26, against C. Milton at home at 6:45 p.m.
