The coaches of the 2014 cross country team had high expectations for the upcoming season. In the beginning, Coach Laura O’Leary said that she believed both the boys and girls team would go to states and her expectations were met.
“The season went really well since both teams went to states,” said senior Regan Davis, “and I was really proud of how we did.”
The boys placed 18th and the girls placed 15th. And making it to states wasn’t the only accomplishment the team was proud of. Senior Nick Fransham placed first in the overall boys race.
Although they had some adjusting to do with a new coach, the team finished the season with all their goals met.
