Feature on Senior Night

Wrestling:

“I had a good senior night; I couldn’t wrestle but it was nice to watch the team win. [There are] Definitely some hard workers on the team, and  I’m definitely more motivated and confident this year myself as it’s my last chance to win a championship. Currently, I am undefeated.”

Our season went really well. We built ourselves up from nothing and managed to go out this year and beat teams we didn’t think we would beat. We all went out and left everything we had out on those mats, and just exceeded past what we thought were limits. My senior night was pretty surreal, it was hard to imagine that that was my last match at North Harford, but I’m glad to have had the experience on this team for the past four years.

Boys basketball:

“The season as a whole was good. [I] wish senior night would have turned out different but we did beat Fallston twice this season.”

“The ceremony was very nice. I was disappointed that we lost by 12, especially since earlier in the season we beat [Fallston] by 10. I played basketball all four years, it was nice to see improvement over the years.”

Boys swimming:

“Our swim season showed us the challenges of having a small men’s team, we were all a tight knit group and motivated each other to work harder to make it to beat these bigger teams and make it to States. Senior night was awesome; it felt good to know that we were being recognized for all the hard work we’ve put in over the years and showed the impact the seniors had on the younger underclassmen. This was definitely a year for the record books and one I surely won’t forget for a long time.”

Matt Weir, senior

Girls swimming:

“I thought senior night was really great because I’ve watched other swimmers’ senior nights, having my own made me feel old but it was a great night. Swim is one of my favorite things during the school year, so I was looking forward to my senior night and ending a great season on a high note.”
